Robotics Engineering Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a robotics engineering intern you will be responsible for researching, developing, and testing robotics components, systems and simulations. On a day to day basis you will be working with technologies such as ROS2, Isaac Sim, motion planning, computer vision, and other related technologies. This is a remote role, and you will be collaborating with a highly skilled and experienced team of engineers and developers. We are looking for someone driven by a passion for developing robotic systems, a demonstrated track record of methodic development, and looking to work in a dynamic environment. This position also comes with a strong potential of conversion to a full-time role.

The position is fully remote (within India)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrable experience with robotics software and hardware, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and communication devices
• Experience with  as C++ and Python
• Proficiency with ROS2
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and execute tasks in a timely manner
• Experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim is a huge plus
• Availability to work full time for at least 6 months, and openness to continue or convert to a full time role thereafter
• Research oriented Masters/PhD candidates are encouraged to apply.
